Only in Reality TV Land Can Michael Jackson’s Doctor Get a Reality TV Show

Only in reality TV land can a doctor not yet cleared of killing the biggest celebrity of our lifetime get a reality tv gig. Reality television does not discriminate. Seems Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s doctor who could be convicted of involuntary manslaughter, has struck a deal with a British documentary crew to film his “first day back on the job in Houston.”

Dr. Murray

I would normally say only in America since it is the biggest peddler it seems of garbage reality TV but no this time we can thank the British for this disgrace. You’re probably thinking the same thing we are: “How could the man who illegally supplied the King of Pop with a fatal dose of Propofol continue to practice medicine?” We’re not sure, but Murray’s spokesman released a statement saying that Murray is already “working 12 hour days … to pay off his [child support] debt.” The footage was taped on November 23 and Murray refuses to let the company air anything until the Michael Jackson investigation is finished.

Well isn’t that mighty nice of the guy who at the very least was asleep or incompetent at the ‘needle edge’ while he administered drugs he knew were never to be used in the method he was using them. If that is not a disgrace considering he is a doctor that is supposed to save lives not abuse a medical license and peddle drugs like a drug dealer, he ensured he was not alert, on the phone and did not have proper equipment to monitor his patient while he put him into a drug induced death.

Well lets go right ahead and film the doctor as he is welcomed back with a heros welcome.

Let us know what you think of this latest financial endeavour for a doctor who continues to practice medicine (unbelievable as it is) and now may be a TV star since he is now famous.

You know in some countries he would already be in jail or at least have his license taken away until investigations were completed.

If anyone in the US was ever in doubt of why they need health reform (and maybe some legislation) this is case in point. It is medicine, free enterprise and entertainment all rolled up in one.
