Judge Mitchell Beckloff denied the bid from Michael Jackson’s father to block the appointment of his son’s estate. Pops tired to block the appointment of his son’s estate to music industry executive John McClain and attorney John Branca but he was ultimately unsuccessful.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff denied Joe Jackson’s bid due to the fact that he was not named as a beneficiary in Michael Jackson’s will.
Even though Joseph had a well documented tumultuous relationship with “The King of Pop” he still felt he had to right to expect money from the estate when clearly MJ wrote him out of the will.
Michael Jackson described that it made him sick to his stomach at certain times during his childhood and adulthood to see his father. In audio recordings made public by MJ’s Rabbi recently, MJ describes disgusting rituals of abuse at the hands of his father.
Although he does not deny that his relationship with his son was as controversial as has been reported, Joe Jackson believed that he was entitled to $20,000 per month from his son’s estate in order to cover his living expenses. Now there is no denying Joseph needs money to fund his lively lifestyle as we have all seen him at many events dining his way through the crowds. He is usually in the company of some big busted babe so one must ask…why does MJ have to pay for this?
Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, decided to throw in the towel in her battle for control of her son’s estate and likenesses on Tuesday. Katherine Jackson, who is slated to receive $26,000 a month from her son’s estate, had been seeking control and power over her son’s music and likeness would be licensed, packaged and promoted in the future.

Joe Jackson is a complete outrage. How on earth can he justify getting any money from Michael’s estate. Surely, he must realise that legally he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Michael left him out of his Will for very good reason and I think he is just going to keep coming back for more and more money. He probably wants it for his new business venture with that footballer. He must also realise that he must be causing a lot of distress to Katherine and the children. Ah yes the children; I would imagine that they would be reading the newspapers and also the news on the web. Surely this must cause a great deal of unnecessary stress and sadness. Haven’t they been through enough ! Thank goodness the judge has seen sense.
