Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense team was dealt a blow this week when the judge on the manslaughter trail ruled to not allow jurors to see unseen footage from rehersals and noted that watching over 100 hours of tape had been a ‘waste of his time’.

Murray’s team had hoped to include the footage in the trial with the hopes of showing that MJ’s health was so compromised that his death could not be blamed on the doctor who is now known as pumping the singer with Propofol.
Sony had objected to airing the footage during the trial noting it did not help the defense and would affect the commercial value of the material that could be obviously used in later sales opportunities.
Now we must ask even if MJ had been in poor health, one could speculate after admitting to administering Propofol for approximately 7 weeks, his health could be affected. Many also argue that does not affect how responsible it would be for a doctor to not only administer such a dangerous drug without proper equipment but also unsupervised as the doctor admitted to going to the washroom while the deadly drug dripped into his patient.
