Even those of you who think you can’t dance, who think you don’t have rhythm, you do! And as we come together, we hear the beginning beats, we start in a magnificent choreography, all together in the beginning, and then we break out. We watch each other do solos, then couples, then groups combine, inventing new steps, integrating old ones into new forms, spontaneous groups who have never met combine and create a step never heard or seen before, everyone applauds and laughs and then the little kids come up, with their newfangled steps and we all laugh and have cake and throw each other up in the air and we start again. We learn from each other in joy. We learn from each other in the rhythm of life. We learn from each other, our ear to each other’s hearts. Yes, we can do this.
