Michael Jackson drank himself to death by consuming a juice box laced with Propofol is what Conrad Murray’s defense team seemed to be suggesting in court today. Beginning the second week of testimony, it has been suggested that the defense would try to lay the blame on the singer and on Monday it became clearer how they were planning to do it.
Murray’s attorney, J. Michael Flanagan questioned a Senior Criminalist from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office about the 70 grams of fluid found in MJ’s stomach at the time of the autopsy. The fluid tested positive for traces of Propofol.
Flanagan asked if the juice box on MJ’s nightstand was tested for Propofol. What seems to be suggested is that MJ was sippin’ on the anesthetic shortly before he died.
The criminalist confirmed he had not tested the juice box.
It appears that Murray’s defense is laying the groundwork suggesting that MJ was secretly self-administering his Propofol resulting in accidentally causing his own overdose.
