The True Crime with Aphrodite Jones aired this week on TV. Ms. Jones, the crime writer, sets out to prove that accusations of child abuse against Michael Jackson resulted in his death.

Her special goes into the many events that led up to charges being filed against Michael, the trial and its lasting effects on him. Interviews with key players provide a very heartbreaking account of how the last 16 years were difficult as he surrounded himself with untrustworthy people. It is enlightening to watch but rather sad. She covered the trial and was one of the very few willing to state his innocence even when it was not fashionable.

I would have liked to have the individuals named who now parade all over the media professing their love who turned their back on him when he clearly needed them. It was noted there were many but the public should be told who these people are as they ask for their extra 5 minutes of fame following his death.

If you were unable to see this special, it is well worth the watch.
