Why have we produced Michael Jackson Chit Chat and why did he have to leave us so soon.  Here’s why:



Michael Jackson Chit Chat is dedicated to providing information about a truly gifted artist.  His talent, compassion and drive will be forever missed.  He was unlike anyone else.

Michael had many gifts. He was a great artist, musician, dancer, poet and humanitarian.  He was unique in every aspect.

It is with deep sadness that many of his fans now feel a need to look back in order to enjoy what he has left behind.  We are hoping that this site provides information about his life, offers glimpses into his world, and inspires others to make a difference.

We want to celebrate his life and the legacy he left behind.  We also, however, hope that some of the heartbreak and tragedy surrounding his life serves as a valuable lesson.  Michael, himself, spoke often about the consequences of his early entrance into the world of celebrity.  He never hid how it had affected him or how his childhood scarred him. As a young child, Michael amazed the world with his talent.  Although we now enjoy the many fruits his talent produced, the effect of him working at such a young age, his abusive childhood, circumstances of his life and his tragic and needless death remind us that all of it had such a human cost.

This magazine is for those who want to read about him, learn about his many talents, hear from him, see him and celebrate him even in death.

After his passing, I remember someone commenting that for Michael Jackson fans, his passing meant that his fans now could come together and celebrate his life.  They did not, however, until his death realize how many fans were really out there.  His true fan base has always been large and loyal but it took his death for the world to realize what a genius he really was.

As Madonna stated ‘sometimes you have to lose something to realize what you have lost’  For many of us, that statement rings so true about Michael.  Lets face it, many call him on a first name basis as if we personally knew him.  We grew up with him.

This magazine is a tribute to his life.  He is what has inspired us to create it and it is the large following he has that dictated we spin off from our original publication at www.chitchatmagazine.com to create a completely new site dedicated just to Michael and his fans.

He was a king, an inspiration and a curiosity.  He inspired, helped, taught and entertained.  Woman loved him, men loved, and all marveled at his talent.

He was ageless, timeless, colourless and genderless.  He appealed to many and truly was the biggest and most recognizable man on the planet.

I personally witnessed the mayhem around him in France during his visit to the Music Awards where he later sang Earth Song.  The hysteria was unbelievable and left a lasting impression.  That, for Michael, was simply another day.   It offered a rare glimpse at his life.  It helped shape the ‘man in the mirror’.

We can only hope that he now has the peace he craved and we are forever grateful for the legacy he left behind. As has been said before, we can all only hope that wherever he is now, he is looking down smiling at us.
